Maternity Session

I had my mom shoot some maternity pics of me today. Here are a few of our favorites....

Nursery

Here are some pictures of the babies room that I shot last night. I'll post some more "professional" shots later, these are just a rough draft for you to see our progress! The letters were Adam's project--my creativity is rubbing off on him! I sent him to Garden Ridge to pick out a palm tree for the corner of the room (his idea) but they were like $100 ea. But, he found these bamboo shoots and wanted to make something, so he thought of letters, and here we are! I actually love them! He thinks Garden Ridge is absolutly amazing! Finally, somewhere other than Lowes to go wonder around in!

NASA Baby Shower

The ladies from the office threw me a suprise baby shower! I was SHOCKED! I have really never been suprised, so it was awesome! Everyone from work, my mom, my grandma, my sister Stacey, and my hubby were all there. We were given some really great gifts: Car Seat, Boppy, Play Gym, Baby Papasan, lots of blue stuff...it was great. Thanks to everyone!

Elizabeth Bond

Eilzabeth has been a Texan cheerleader for 3 years now, and tryouts are April 1st. I did her tryout pics last year, and this year was no different! She's amazingly hot (according to my husband, she's "smoking hot"!), and it's easy to get great shots of her. Here are my faves from yesterday. Good luck Liz!

Jackson the Soccer Player

Right now, I am sitting here staring at my belly watching my little boy kick like crazy in my belly. He's been sooo active today! All this morning, Adam and I just layed in bed watching and feeling him move all over--Adam swears there are two babies! NO!!

Today and yesterday, we worked on Jackson's room. We got 2 shelves put up and the valance for the window. We painted the paddles on the fan, along with the mirror for above the dresser/changing table. And finally, mom and dad gave me the rocking chair that they bought for when I was born, and of course, we painted that too! As soon and everything is exactly the way I want it, I'll post some pics. As of today, we have 13 weeks to go! This pregnancy has gone by so fast...I just hope the next 13 weeks do too! I can't wait to hold him...you know, it makes me a little emotional thinking about it.

Rachel Snow

Rachel is one of my best friends. She allowed me to shoot her in the studio in order for me to play with my new lights. She's gorgeous and I absolutely love taking pictures of her--it's so easy and it makes me feel like I am a pro at posing, when I all really do is click the button, and she does all the work!
