God Bless Owen

On Saturday morning, I was invited to share in a very special baptism. Little Owen Lee Penton was born a bit premature, but has grown into an amazing little man with a great set of lungs! He was not a happy camper when everyone started arriving (he was just a little hungry!) but once the actual ceremony began, was sound asleep!

Please keep this special little boy in your prayers, as he is about to undergo surgery to fix some complications due to prematurity. Thank you!

Parker + Lana

Last weekend, after all of the crazy weather and rain, I was able to be a part of Parker and Lana's big day. This is the nicest couple! I had not met them until I walked into Lana's bathroom as she was getting all dolled up! Small world--we went to SHSU together at the same time and spent our entire college life in the Dan Rather Communication building--she studied Radio/Television and me Photography!

And with their closest family and friends (and the mariachi music blaring in the background) the two said "I do!". Parker and Lana planned a simple elegant wedding in their Aunt's backyard but with all the bad weather, they decided on Friday to go ahead and have it at the KC Hall in Pearland. But in the banquet room next door, a quinceanera was in full swing--sombreros and all! But the wedding was beautiful and heartfelt and you could feel the emotion and love in the cozy, transformed room. I am so happy to have met this adorable couple! Lana's getting ready images have been some of my favorites/best work to date! I am so excited about some of them! Here are my favs:

Jeff + Lindsey + Grant

This is a love story if I have ever heard one! Lindsey and Jeff and Grant will become a family on September 29th. Lindsey and I are both ADPi's (she was my pledge mom back in the day) and I know she will be a great parent to Grant. He is one lucky little boy. And I just adore Jeff--he is so good to Lindsey...she couldn't have found a better man to sweep her off her feet!

YaYa Girls!

I have never had so much fun! Maddie and Lexi are living overseas in Jacarta (I think that's how you say/spell it!?) and were in town for 6 weeks visiting family and friends. They used to live across the street from the Arriaga girls, Abby and Avery. Here are my favs from this super fun--Disney inspired (say "Hannah Montana!" say "Raven!" say "Cheetah Girls!" and of course "Dora" for Miss Avery!) shoot on Monday:
