Carolyn + Greg

This is the cutest couple ever. They are so much fun--I could not get Carolyn to stop laughing or giggling! You can tell she is so much in love with Greg! They just moved to a home on the golf course, so we headed out on the course--and we were glared at by some pissy golfers (who were not that good and took forever!) Greg is so easy going and was up for almost anything--even the cheesy shots! I can't wait to have margaritas with them in the future!

Melissa Maternity Session

Meet mommy-to-be, Melissa! She is the oldest sister on my pledge sister, Casey Harbich. I had not met her until Sunday, but let me tell you, she is the nicest person! And her hubby is super cute--they are going to have a pretty baby boy! I have had the most fun processing this shoot. I love belly shots--the images can be so soft and artistic and beautiful and feminine. I am hooked! And I have to say, I think these are some of my best work in the studio--I'm thrilled! Thanks Melissa for allowing me to document such a precious time in your life! (How wonderful! I hope all of my brides come to me after the honeymoon is over and they are expecting! The natural progression of life--and I'd be lucky enough to capture it all!) Here are my favs:

My absolute favorite shot! (above)

Arriaga Family

Jen is the granddaughter of the couple below and my contact for the family--it was also her home that we shot ALL OF THE PHOTOS IN!! She was referred to me by her co-worker, Kelli, whose engagement session I did a few months ago. So after shooting the entire family (don't worry, no one died!), I tried to get some fun shots of her family and her hubby. Unfortunately, we didn't get a lot of time because it rained! (there was no chance for rain, and it freaking started raining right when it was time to take the entire family outside! I was so upset! I LOVE outdoor shots--you can get tons more creative outside with foliage and there's a lot more room!) But we did get some great shots of this family and we are getting together again sometime next week to do Jen and Anthony's 10 year anniversary pics, so watch for those to come!

Goodwin Family

Here is a classy family! I enjoyed meeting them. The last time they had a formal portrait was 15 years ago, and since then, they have married and reproduced many new family members! So it was time to update the wall portrait! I loved them--they were all so nice and so patient. It was Grandpa's birthday, so they had cake too--yum! And I bet I can remember all of their names, in order: Grandpa Bill (dada) and Grandma Doris, Scott and CJ, Ruth Ann, Marsha and Duane and Ryan, Tracey and her son Jack, and Jennifer and Anthony and Abby and Avery (I hope I got them all!) Here are some of my favs from a long Saturday afternoon!
