Stowe Family

Years ago, I happened into a class called Entrepreneurship (the best class I ever took at SHSU) and met a man named Dr. Charles R.B. Stowe. In class one night, he asked if anyone would be interested in working for him and his family as a nanny/housekeeper. Of course, I volunteered, and the rest is history! I fell in love with this family, Laura, Chuck, and little Charlie. I was a nanny for Charlie for almost 2 years (being with him almost every day!), and in that time, I learned so much about being a "mommy" that it prepared me for my own little man! I have watched Charlie grow from a cautious 3 year old, to an artistic 8 year old and I cherish every moment that I had with him. Adam and I took Jackson to Huntsville on Sunday to see them before Christmas and take their annual Christmas card photo. Here are some of my favorites from the wonderful afternoon:

Delaney West Baptism

After a really long weekend, I got to photograph an amazing event--the baptism of Miss Delaney Isabel West. St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in The Woodlands is a gorgeous church, and afterward, the dinner at Perry's Steakhouse was intimate and perfect...the room was so full of love for this little princess! And I was actually EXTREMELY jealous of this little beauty when she opened a gift from her godfather....a baby-size strand of Mikimoto pearls! God has blessed her with an amazing family, and them the same. She is a very lucky little girl to have such amazing parents and I wish them all the best! God Bless!

Freeman Family

This weekend was crazy busy! But in all the madness, I got to take some time to photograph Shawn and Abby and their 3 month old, Mindy. Mindy is no stranger to the blog, as I posted her birth announcement a few months ago! Mindy did NOT want to be naked, nor in her "fluffy" dresses for very long, but we managed to get some really great shots! Here are a few of my favs and a link to their entire session: Freeman Family

Wesley Garret

On Friday morning, I had a great session with the cutest little boy, Wesley. He is 2 years old, and very curious! He realy likes babies, which was fantastic b/c he was so good with Jackson! We played around in the studio, talking about Thomas the Tank and growling like lions--oh, and barking likes puppy dogs! Then, we headed to the park so that Wesley could show Jackson how to slide down the slide! He was super cute and I hope they come over again soon!

Aaron + Keely

On Thursday, I got to meet up with one of my wedding couples from next July. Aaron and Keely are the sweetest people, and a whole lot of fun. You can really tell how in love they are! It was not hard to get them to "canoodle!" We headed down to Galveston to hit the Strand, not knowing that the biker rally started a little early--300,000 bikers on Galveston Island! It was madness--soooo loud! But how often do you get to take your engagement picks in front of a strangers Harley? Right? The entire afternoon was a lot of fun and I can't wait for their wedding next summer!
