My dad got a new toy a few months back--the "bitch" as my mom refers to it! It's a Pontiac Solstice. He ordered it a few months back and it FINALLY arrived in April! They are making very few of them, so you have to get on a waiting list. Unfortunately for me, it's a stick shift and I can't drive a stick--bummer. The 'rents went on their first car rally a few weeks ago to Austin, and dad has been to a few car shows with his "baby"! I have been meaning to shoot him with his car, just never got around to it, but I caught some artistic vibes at one of the car shows and wanted to post some of the shots I really liked. I plan on shooting some with my dad in the future.

Jevon + Julie (Part 1)
Over the past few months, I have become very good friends with some of the nicest people--Julie & Jevon. I have been fortunate enough to photograph all aspects of their wedding: engagement, bridal, wedding. After booking, we found out that it is a VERY small world--we all went to the same university, partied at the same hole-in-the-wall bar, knew the same people, yet never knew each other! So shooting their wedding was not work for me: it was watching two friends express the greatest show of love. I just started processing the first part of their wedding--here are some of my favorites so far.

Erin + Danny
Erin & Danny were married on May 20th in Galveston. Their wedding was sooo much fun. Erin's bridal party--all friends from high school--were the most crazy and hillarious group of girls! They were always ready to strike a pose--it really made the day enjoyable! They have the most adorable little boy, Tyler, who danced the night away! What a cute family!
