Just when I think the honeymoon is over, Adam comes up with something good--make that great! We've been married for almost 2 years now, but it seems like only yesterday we were two crazy college students.
Tonight, Adam came home from work with a suprise--he called to tell me that when he got home, he would honk, and that would be m signal to go an hide in the bedroom for 30 minutes while he got my Valentine's Day gift together. So, naturally, I jumped all over the opportunity to have 30 minutes to myself. Adam and Jackson got busy "preparing" things in the kitchen while I put on my new Victoria Secret jammies that my mom got me for V-Day (they are so warm and colorful, I love them!)
When they were done, I walked into the kitchen to find a fondue pot, wine, and goodies! For YEARS, I have wanted a fondue pot! I just think it's the coolest thing ever--and I FINALLY got one tonight! Adam and I ate bread and cheese and then on to chocolate with bananas, strawberries, and coconut macaroons...it was a great surprise and a fantastic dinner. We laughed, with and at each other, and admiring our baby boy. The best part--Jackson sat in his high chair, quiet, watching us eat and laugh! Such a good boy!
