Shawn + Abby + Mindy

This family has graced the blog before, when Minnie was just a little baby! Shawn and my hubby grew up together and all four of us went to college together--and Minnie is only 2 months younger than Jack Jack. So, when they called to have their Christmas pictures taken, we made it a playdate! Although Jackson thought Mindy was hot stuff, she only wanted to flirt and laugh with Adam (hands off girlie, he's taken!) We got a FEW shots of Mindy in her Pumpkin costume--but she really wasn't having it. SHE DOESN'T LIKE THE PUMPKIN MOMMY!! But it's really cute--sometimes you have to suffer to be cute, Mindy! We put Jackson in his giraffe costume to see if Mindy would respond to that, and the response was "Why are you dressed like a Giraffe, stupid?" and looked at him with a blank expression--she was not impressed! The last picture sums it up and cracks me up every time I look at it! Here are my favs:

John + Amy

I love this couple! They were willing to do whatever I said, I couldn't get them to stop gazing lovingly into each other's eyes, and they kissed ALOT! They truly love each other and it's really fun to see such emotion from two people--and it wasn't even their wedding day! I can't imagine the sparks that will fly that day! And the camo--John's an avid hunter, and the camo suited them! I loved it! Amy and I graduated from SHSU together--we were both photo majors, so this was extra fun because she just let me run with my creative side! Here are a TON of my favorites!!

Sophia--Maternity

Pregnant women are cute. To look at them, they glow. The just seem to light up the minute you say, "Oh, look at that belly!" They are excited to talk about the baby, the pregnancy...it just makes them happy. Especially first time mommies. And, that is what Sophia is. A first time preggers, soon to be mommy! You might remember Jose and Sophia from their engagement session I did about a year ago--and as life goes (first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby...you get the idea) she was bound to call me with the news of a little bundle of joy on the way sooner than later! This is my fourth bride to find out she was pregnant, and I love the fact that I get to document such times in their lives. Here are my favs from my session with Sophia and baby Helio (who should be arriving in November!)

Kelly

Kelly needed some quick shots of her and her lab, Jackson, for Halloween cards for her clients. She is a pharmaceutical sales rep for pediatricians, so this was totally appropriate! And super cute! And being that she is just so ridiculously gorgeous--an absolute natural in front of the camera--we were done in 25 minutes! And that was WITH chasing Jackson around the park!!
