We stayed a day/night in Reno (which I would not recommend to anyone, yuck!) and caught a glimpse of a new movie being filmed, Love Ranch. Okay, I got more than a glimpse--I took some pics before I got scolded!
When we got to Tahoe the next day, the weather was GORGEOUS!! We hit the slopes that afternoon, and I must say, for not having skiied in about 3.5 years, I picked it right up! We skiied again on Friday at Squaw Valley (home of the 1960s Olympics)--amazing! After a LONG day of being on the mountain and getting snowed on, we had a sushi dinner/snack--which made me super duper sick! I stayed in bed the rest of the night in the fetal position while our crew partied and drank and ate without me--I physically could not move or I know I would throw up! Uhhhhg...
The best day was on Saturday. Adam was supposed to go skiing, and I was supposed to have the day all to myself--but plans changed and we headed to Heavenly together! We took in all the art galleries, did some shopping, drank coffee, and just wandered aimlessly--and went to a MOVIE! Something we have not done in about 3 years! We were on no time frame, no rush. It was "Heavenly!" On the way back, we snapped some pics for the walls.
There is so much more to write about, I just don't have time. I have BOOKS to finish! Currently, I am finishing the Crawford book and getting started on the Halbert book, then Hillary's book, then Wade and Lauren's book....so bear with me!
